We stock an extensive range of electronic, wireless weather forecasters from London Clock and La Crosse Technology of the USA. Weather forecasters provide an approximately 70-80% reliable weather forecast within a radius of about 15-20 miles and are perfect for forecasting the local "micro-climate" and therefore of particular interest to gardeners, anybody involved in outdoor activities and, in fact, nearly everybody in Britain where we seem to have a national obessesion with the weather. Prices start at under £30 and range up to approximately £250 for fully fledged "professional" forecasters which would include wind direction and velocity signalling, rainfall measurement, a touch screen base station and the ability to link to a personal computer. Many of our customers prefer to spend between £30-£90 and models featured in that price range generally incorporate radio controlled clock/calenders, indoor and outdoor temperatures, indoor and outdoor humidity, the weather forecast itself, the weather trend and atmostpheric pressure trend. All are very simple to operate and we are always happy to set the forecaster up in the shop if the customer wants us to.
